One Hundred Thousand Rand A Trust for children born without limbs, Mpho Madi set up the Trust fund, assisting the children to specialist care, operations and limb replacement with the assistance of specialist. AERCT were the first to fund this Trust.
Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Rand A school for the disabled in Katlehong, the school was presently run from containers. The Department of Education had funded the new building. AERCT assisted with the hospitality classroom, catering equipment, stoves, cutlery and crockery. A full security system was also supplied and installed.
Four Hundred Thousand (over two quarters) A centre in Daveyton for the disabled in the area, a welding workshop, a ladies sewing centre and a computer centre is already established. Twenty Five Thousand Rand (a further grant) The project has secured an income for the twenty mentally challenged learners, an ablution facility was built but not completed. The further grant was for the plumbing and electrical supply and installation for the ablution block. All work will be done by the students.

The Trust purchased four washing machines and four tumble driers to assist with the extra laundry due to soiled linen and clothing.
